Due Toscani Dropshipping Operations Manual
Step-by-Step Guide to Placing Orders Correctly
This guide is intended for retailers who are already registered and authorized to use the Due Toscani dropshipping service.
Here, we explain how to place an order, calculate shipping costs, enter the recipient's shipping address correctly, complete payment, and understand how invoicing works.
Please read these instructions carefully before placing your first order.
1. Log In to Your Business Account
Visit www.duetoscani-cashmere.com and log in using your approved business account.
Make sure you are logged in before shopping so that you can access your exclusive B2B prices.
2. Select the Products You Want to Ship
Choose the product your customer has purchased from your online store.
Carefully check:
-
Product model
-
Color
-
Size, where applicable
-
Quantity
Add the product to your shopping cart.
You can add multiple products to the same order, provided they are all being shipped to the same address.
If you have orders for different customers, you must place separate orders, one for each recipient.
All products are shipped without a brand label; they will only feature a label indicating the composition, care instructions, and "Made in Italy" origin. If you wish to attach your own brand label, you will need to have the goods delivered to your own warehouse or store and apply the label yourself.
3. Calculate Shipping Costs in Your Cart
For the time being, shipping costs can only be calculated on the checkout page, but in the coming days we will implement a calculator on the cart page.
Once you have added your products, open the shopping cart page.
Here, you will find a dedicated shipping cost calculator.
Enter the required destination details, such as the country and postal code, to check the shipping cost.
The system calculates shipping costs based on the destination and the characteristics of your order.
Important: Always enter your end customer's destination details, not your company's address.
Once you have checked the shipping cost, proceed to checkout.
4. Enter the Correct Shipping Address
This is the most important step.
During checkout, in the Shipping Address section, you must enter your end customer's details.
Complete all the required fields:
-
Recipient's first and last name
-
Full street address and building number
-
Postal code
-
City
-
State, province, or region, where required
-
Country
-
Recipient's telephone number
DO NOT ENTER YOUR BUSINESS ADDRESS AS THE SHIPPING ADDRESS.
We will ship the products to the exact address you provide during checkout.
If you enter your own address, the parcel will be delivered to you instead of your customer.
You are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are correct. Any additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses will be your responsibility.
5. Check Your Billing Address
The billing address is different from the shipping address.
Shipping Address: Your end customer's address, where the parcel must be delivered.
Billing Address: Your company's address, as your business is purchasing the products from Due Toscani.
During checkout, make sure your billing details match your registered business information.
Do not enter your end customer's billing or tax information.
6. Pay for Your Order Immediately
All dropshipping orders must be paid for at the time of purchase.
The total amount includes the cost of the products, shipping charges, and any applicable taxes.
Once payment has been completed, your order enters our system for processing.
Deferred payments or monthly settlements are not available.
7. How Invoicing Works
Invoicing is separate from payment.
Although each order must be paid for immediately, a consolidated invoice is issued at the end of the month, in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
The invoice will be issued to your company and will include the orders covered by the monthly consolidated invoicing procedure.
We do not issue invoices to your end customers.
Remember:
-
Payment: Immediate, for every order.
-
Invoicing: Consolidated at the end of the month.
-
Invoice recipient: Your company.
-
Shipping recipient: Your end customer.
8. Order Preparation and Shipping
Once payment has been received, we prepare your order.
The products are packed in neutral packaging and shipped directly to the recipient's address provided during checkout.
You do not need to receive the products yourself or arrange a second shipment.
9. How to Manage Orders for Multiple Customers
If you receive orders from three different customers, you must place three separate orders on our website.
Example:
-
Customer Mario Rossi, Milan: Order No. 1, shipped to Mario Rossi.
-
Customer John Smith, London: Order No. 2, shipped to John Smith.
-
Customer Marie Dupont, Paris: Order No. 3, shipped to Marie Dupont.
Each order must have its own shipping address and payment.
Do not combine products intended for different customers into a single order.
10. Double-Check Everything Before Confirming
Before completing payment, always make sure that:
-
The products and quantities are correct.
-
The shipping address belongs to your end customer.
-
The country and postal code are correct.
-
The recipient's telephone number has been provided.
-
The billing address belongs to your company.
-
Shipping costs have been calculated correctly.
-
The total amount payable is correct.
Once an order has been confirmed, changes may no longer be possible, particularly if the parcel has already been prepared or handed over to the courier.
